I would give this product 5 stars but only now after fixing the loose connections. My theory after reading the negative reviews was that the Phillips screws wobbled during the shipping process which is why I made the purchase. Of course, after a week, half of the LED strip went out. If it was a mounting issue, 1/2 strip of ALL the LEDs wouldn't burn out at the same time. I'm not an electrician so anyone can fix this. SOLUTION: Turn the flashlight upside down and remove the silver Phillips screws on one side only (the side without the switch). Remove the end cap. This will allow the clear plastic protector to slide out. Now you can (very gently) wiggle each little black wire until you find the loose one. Use a Phillips (small jeweler's) screwdriver to tighten the contact. Did. Now slide back the clear plastic cover and press the light switch. If it works, unscrew the black connector and you're done.
