Review on Neewer Diameter Photography Collapsible Reflective by Brian Krump

As I work as a photographer I have a complete photo studio at home with flashes and high tech equipment. I'm just beginning to understand how nice it is to use flashes on the spot instead of lugging around flashes. But I'm not sure I fully subscribed to the idea of multiple flares, I didn't want to mess with really expensive modifiers. So I read some reviews and research and finally settled on this softbox umbrella. This is a great modifier. It's very easy to set up and take down and seems to last a while. I don't expect it to last very long if I use it extensively, but at this price I wouldn't do it. Don't expect it to last for years, and neither should you. Camera hardware is notoriously and ridiculously expensive. So when I see something good, but not at a premium price, I'm grateful, but I also meet my expectations with the price. if it lasts for years, i'm thrilled. If it only lasts a year, I'll be happy. If it breaks tomorrow I'll come back and edit my review and let you know. I set this up with a triple flash ring (FWIW. I spent very little on the ring mount and it was awful. a bit more... the mount almost ruined the shot) and it worked flawlessly giving good even lighting and nice round highlights . A few days after that test shoot I used this thing with my studio flashes on a client shoot and again it did a great job of showing the light you would expect from this setup. OVERALL: For the price, this is a great device. that works with both flashes and studio flashes. I have no idea how long it will last but if it breaks early in its life I will update this review. For now I think this is a great inexpensive alternative to more expensive modifiers if you are just starting out or want to give it a try. Highly recommended.
