Huge problem solved
When we moved into our home 12 years ago, we installed two wall mounted flat screen TVs. We bought one of the few smaller mounts available at the time. The mounts were perfect but the TVs were starting to die. All new televisions have different mounts. We were reluctant to buy new TVs because of the hassle of changing brackets. We repainted the old brackets and they were firmly attached to the stud. We bought a new TV and this adapter and installed it yesterday. The adapter is solid and beautifully finished.
