I needed flags for our putting green as our contractor wanted to require flags and came across these flags. Most online companies that sell these flags sell them for less, but they charge exorbitant shipping costs, probably because the flagpole is a one-piece piece. This version breaks it down into two pieces that you screw together (it's the black area between the two yellow bars). This forms the base of the flagpole. From there you insert the flag and fasten it with a screw cap. And that's it for the build. The cups that come with this set are plastic but I didn't use them as our contractor supplied aluminum for our putting green. In general, the quality of the flags is excellent. They saw the rain and the wind and had no problems. I would suggest keeping the end of the flagpole clean as it can get stuck if small rocks or dirt get caught in it. But otherwise I would buy these flags again.
