Just got this a few days ago (left handed keyboard). Using it on the left side of my main keyboard, which I can now keep in one place for typing, feels completely natural. I've remapped my map and autoplay buttons to the left hand for quicker access. The bevel of the palm rest is made of the same unreinforced ABS plastic as the rest of the case and each keyboard and is much more comfortable to use than with a standard keyboard. .I can't say anything about the long-term quality of the component, but it is no different from any other standard dome switch keyboard. Since it's a special design, I imagine it will last a bit longer than a regular general-purpose keyboard. My main complaint about the device is the gap fragment; their cross-section has the same geometry as the rest of the alphanumeric and function keys, although it would be just as easy and useful to use the cross-section of the adjacent Alt-FN and Ctrl keys. The result is a sharp edge at the corner. Maybe that explains the price? It's actually not that bad anyway, and I don't mind triggering the spacebar from the corner of the key (though maybe that will change with longer use). If you can get it for $20, jump on it. Worth it at this price.
