Review on πŸŽ’ Large Black OGIO Gambit Backpack by April Medellin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sturdy backpack for everyday use

I work in healthcare and I ride my motorbike or scooter. I have to carry things around with me almost every day: laptop or tablet, sportswear, sometimes heavy products. After a long search I bought the OGIO Gambit and am very satisfied. Spacious but doesn't look bulky. Sturdy construction, normally stands upright on the floor either empty or full. Very comfortable top handle and shoulder straps are ok too (I've had better ones in other backpacks but it's more than enough). Plenty of pockets/organization if you want to use them, no problem if you don't. The chest strap helps a lot with heavy loads; I didn't use it in my previous pack and this one makes a huge difference. It even has a slight stretch for comfort. There's a luggage pass on the back, and the laptop slot is nicely filled with a smaller (and better protected) tablet liner. I think the all-black look is about as "professional" as a backpack can be: it won't match your tuxedo, but it's fine for walking around hospitals, clinics, etc. It can be a bit too high (cost, weight). and size) for lighter applications and a hip belt helps with very heavy loads. I would have liked a contrasting interior color. But for me all this is not a big disadvantage, and the pluses outweigh the bad.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Upgradable
