The included instructions are easy to understand, but no advanced math. I just used a tape measure and tape to mark my spots. It took a while to get them the way I wanted them, and even then I wish they were more accurate, but I have mild OCD. They are matte silver and I think they look good. The tape on the back is very very sticky, I would recommend starting at the edge of the tape, positioning the protective case, getting it where you want it and then slowly peeling off the rest by applying pressure to the exercise protective cover. I still think they are a bit pricey but OEM usually is. Thank you Dodge for getting me to spend $90 on something you should have included from the factory.
