Add me to the list of satisfied customers of this device. Before I got it I was concerned that I could adjust it horizontally to center it between two windows. You see the stud I installed it on was 5" off center. As it turns out, the mount does NOT allow you to adjust the horizontal position, so be careful. The website has good diagrams of the device and you'll notice that the center of the mounting plate is about 3.75 inches from the mounting holes. Although the device is off-center by about 1.25 inches, it doesn't stand out in our bedroom setup. Now it is very easy to install this device. I couldn't believe how easy it was, even for one person. Just make sure you find the center of the stud before drilling the holes. I used a slightly larger drill bit than recommended and the screws were easier to tighten. I also added rubber bumpers to the lever to keep it from scratching the wall when fully folded. This is a well designed product and definitely worth the money.
