Surprised and then surprised again!

I was constantly looking for something similar on the Internet. A few months ago I came home from work to find the toilet had been running all day! My whole house is pretty much automated and that was the last missing piece. I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the bad reviews but I'm glad I decided to give it a try. Here's what I like: - Easy to install: to install it, you basically attach it to the surface of the pipe with the cable ties provided. Then plug it into a nearby outlet. You complete the installation of an application that prompts you to turn off the water supply and flush the toilet. This device "listens" to the sound of water flowing through pipes, so you don't need to hire a plumber. - Modern application and reliable notifications: The application is very modern, which shows that this product was launched and tested in no hurry. The app has historical water usage data and provides a chart to determine when water flows for a few seconds after opening a faucet. - Alerts, Alerts: You can set up alerts when water flows at a preset flow rate for x minutes (see below. Screenshot). The app also includes a Home and Away mode toggle. Away mode notifies you when water flows for more than 15 seconds. This setting is not currently configurable, so here's what you get. - Integration with Alexa: Again, this shows that a lot of work has gone into the development of the software, which is not often the case with some of these gadgets. I can ask Alexa to set the sensor to Home or Away. Nest Integration: I don't have a Nest, but plan to get one soon. When using the socket, the sensor can detect when nobody is home and turn off the away mode automatically. Some things I don't like: - When using the app, I sometimes get a message that the water sensor is disabled. This never happens and the message usually disappears after a few seconds. - No web interface to monitor water usage: Currently there is no website where you can view your water usage history. This is currently limited to the app. Overall, this is a well-made sensor that nothing else currently comes close to.
