Review on AllergyZone AZFL 100 Filter Lock Cover by John Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Didn't work for me but maybe for you

To be honest it didn't work for me but maybe for you. My filter slot is offset (I have a sheet metal cover that slides in but definitely doesn't seal like I'd like) and the rear chamber is insulated so I couldn't get the camera-side magnets to work. Background, my roommates smoke indoors and it gets sucked into the HVAC return into various leaks I've been chasing for a while, including filter slot gaps. Makes me mad. Instead, I use a few strips of masking tape (duct tape or masking tape can also work, but masking tape is expensive and masking tape leaves marks when you remove it to replace the filter). Masking tape may not adhere depending on temperature or surface cleanliness, but is easy/inexpensive to replace. In short, if your air conditioner is in a non-air conditioned area, e.g. B. in a hot attic, this cover does not seal well enough. but if it's in a soft basement or somewhere else, this might work for you. Definitely better than uncoated.

Pros
  • Would be fun
Cons
  • Obsolete model
