I have an old Electrolux vacuum cleaner from my grandma. I believe this to be a 1950's model as it has the distinctive greenish blue paintwork that I associate with that period. Aerus is still in business and still making the vacuum descendant of this classic. I checked out their website and their "Lux" canister models are a modern take on this classic design.
