I was very optimistic that it would replace my recently broken toilet light. I figured it would require less cleaning and be more efficient. In general, it's not scary, but the functionality is severely lacking. Pros: - Light conditions are actually pretty good (especially white light) - Colors are fun and you can stop at one color Cons - Light sensor is terrible. If your bathroom doesn't have a window, this thing will be on almost all the time. Due to the disadvantage mentioned above, you must turn it off, in which case any color adjustments you make will not be saved. Red is the least harmful to the eyes at night, so I was hoping to save it. But the second you turn it off, wait for the cycle to repeat itself until you can turn it red. Very bulky, and I have no problem lighting a $4 toilet. Overall I'd recommend skipping this unless you simply don't need a white night light, don't want fun colors for some reason, or have a bright enough bathroom where the sensor won. don't waste your energy.
