Review on 🎧 USB Transcription Headset by Spectra by George Kapoor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I don't call it a miracle, but damn close.

I've had just about every pair of headphones I could try for my transcription work. I work from home and started thinking that I needed to figure out how to set up my computer's sound card to make all my files louder. When I ordered them I didn't have to crank the main speaker volume to maximum, PLUS crank the transcription software speaker to maximum, only to barely hear what the secondary speakers in the room were saying. it was a miracle. I'm not saying they will change your life, maybe I am. It depends on what you've used in the past. I even tried using headphones because I figured the closer they were to my eardrums, the better I could hear what they were saying on the recording. They sit softly next to your ear canal and yet somehow transmit the sound perfectly. I would like to describe it better. I also wish I had found them sooner, they would have saved me a headache for months. Reviews of other headsets and headphones I've used have given me migraines almost daily, it's a godsend. The volume button on the cable is a bit heavy and tends to pull a bit on the headset, just making sure I have it. attached to something close enough to my shoulder that the weight of the cable doesn't bother me too much due to the volume control. Eventually it got to the point where I didn't even notice it anymore.

Pros
  • True digital volume control
Cons
  • Older model
