I would give this phone 5 stars except the advertising on this store is misleading. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA? IF YOU USE AT&T YOU WILL RECEIVE XT2041-4 INSTEAD. I bought this because my G4 has been idle for too long and the battery has died. I *thought* I was buying a "global" phone that would even work on GSM networks in the US, and the price seemed reasonable. Well, shortly after I bought it, I saw an article on AT&T encouraging people to "buy a new phone." It won't affect me as this phone is new. Boy was I wrong. AT&T will start requiring phones on their network to have HD voice capability, but not this one, and when I go to the AT&T website, they don't list this phone in their supported models list. .This model is advertised as "global" as long as you use GSM. On the other hand, the XT2041-4 is clearly advertised as "global”. It goes back to Revain and I get the proper US G8 Power. Maybe it was SNAFU, but I'm still not happy about it at all. You want it by August 13; I hope I have the decency to extend this deadline if need be!
