I clean my screen pretty well every time I run my dryer and in the past I've stuck my vacuum's narrow nozzle in the space behind the screen as much as possible, but since it is not flexible so I could only get it at short range. When I saw this extension I wasn't sure how well it would work, but it's a tiny hassle so I decided to give it a try. Well, on the first "dive" into the depths of the dryer, my vacuum immediately made that horrible "hose clogged" noise, and I pulled out the extension cord to find a big bunch of lint in front of the nozzle. I deleted it and came back. In just 2-3 minutes I had a Dyson Animal bagless bucket half full and needed to empty it. That was before I went outside and pulled more out of the outlet end of the canal. I repeated a few more passes inside and ended up with a sizeable pile of lint and lint. I know my dryer will be much more efficient afterwards, and of course I've reduced the risk of fire. You will not regret it!
