Less than a year later, this inferior coffee maker ended up in the trash. Within the first few months of use, various things started breaking and the manufacturer voided the warranty because it was sold by a third party, because Revain didn't stock it, or some other lame excuse. The tab holding the filter basket broke after a few months and Braun sent a replacement (which also broke after a few months). A company that doesn't stand behind their products won't see business from me again! Also, the machine was difficult to program and required cleaning every 60 days to brew around 7-8 cups a day. It also lacked some of the features that my previous coffee makers had, such as B. Controlling the temperature of the burner and the number of hours it was left on before turning off. Then the burner's non-stick coating began to peel off - all in less than a year! GARBAGE! It went in the trash! The last Braun coffee maker I will ever buy. Back to the Kitchen brand for me that is easy to use, has more useful features and is cheaper!
