The performance of this humidifier is very impressive, the settings are simple and user-friendly and it has a very sleek, modern design that looks much better than other baby blue and white models. However, what impresses me the most is the heating function. At the highest level you can hear the water boiling, which increases the performance compared to the standard settings of the ultrasonic air humidifier enormously and also heats small rooms. I started sleeping better and breathing became noticeably easier. When the humidity is good, less energy is needed to heat a room, which is very efficient in northern Ohio winters. I suggest using only distilled water with an ultrasonic humidifier (cool mist), it's healthier than any minerals or chemicals in the air. Water is thrown straight into the air, often resulting in very fine white dust that settles on everything. Not to mention mineral deposits in the humidifier. The only downside is that you can't (I haven't tried it yet, it's possible) remove the plastic cover that holds the water tank, which also hides the humidifier's working parts. Device. Since the water is directed into this part, you cannot clean it if necessary. However, I suggest using a small amount (say 1/4 cup) of white vinegar to a full tank of water every two months (more often if you're not using distilled water) to sterilize your humidifier. This will help remove limescale from your tap water, but it probably won't remove it completely. The only other downside I can mention is the night setting, it turns the LED off but also lowers the humidity output to reduce noise. I don't have to constantly read all the settings and the current humidity, it would be better if the LED automatically switches off after, say, two turns and can be switched on by pressing any button. All in all this is a fantastic product. that does exactly what i want.
