I ordered size L (large) for my 10lb Maltipoo. This dog has such an odd shape that I'm having SO hard finding his fur, but this one fits almost perfectly. It is 16 1/2" long, 17" bust and has a very small belly (again, odd measurements for a Maltipoo) meaning the coat can be tight but too short, good length but too big around him around. Abdomen and chest, or just not the right size. This coat is just over 18 inches long which is great because I was afraid it was actually what the chart says. I can understand the disappointed reviews now and agree that they really need to update their size chart because it's not fun to order something that ends up requiring a return/exchange and a return. But I'm more than happy it worked for my dog. My only immediate complaint is that the side of the bubble coat is very flat. In the seller's photos it looks like a down jacket, but in reality it is very thin and not impressive. I'm not taking a star off for that because I'm not sure if it takes time to unbox or if I just looked at the pictures wrong. Regardless, it's not a big deal because I'll probably be using more of the plaid side! PROS: Adorable 2 coat styles in 1 Affordable Cozy/Warm Fits well Looks sturdy and good for rainy/cold days My dog can easily move around in it The pocket on the plaid side is CUTE and roomy. CONS: The bubble side is flat/not as pretty as advertised. The sizing chart can be frustrating when you realize I highly recommend this, but I would suggest reading the reviews carefully for other, more accurate measurements. I came from a review from a person who gave specific measurements for their dog and coat and thanks to them I made a purchase that I have no regrets! Very happy with this product!
