Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy S8+ Maple Gold 64GB Fully Unlocked by Adhira Nair ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

Before Samsung, I used only iPhones, and when my 6 started to get pretty dumb after 2 years of use, due to obsolescence and frequent falls, I decided to buy the much-lauded Galaxy S8+. I wanted something new, with an excellent camera and good performance. You can have a lot of discussions about what is better than iOS or Android, but as for me, iOS is much simpler and more intuitive, but this is not about that. After about two months of use, the phone began to slow down considerably, and there is plenty of memory for both storage and operational. Not many apps have been installed. It began to slow down in almost all applications, even standard ones, such as a browser and a camera. As for me, a phone for that kind of money should just fly, which I expected from it. My wife has an iPhone 7, which is much faster. Often there were problems with the microphone, often the interlocutor did not hear me at all, as if the microphone was turned off. After a second call, everything returned to normal, and there were problems both with regular calls and through whatsapp and viber. The camera is average, taking pictures in low light is generally terrible if you do not use the Pro mode. Blurs backgrounds or faces. On the same 7-ke, the front-end is much better. E But worst of all, this phone has a very fragile display. One had only to remove the cover-book, as the phone slipped onto the tiles in the bathroom and from one fall, from a height of less than a meter, the display cracked into dust. A web of cracks all over the screen, plus the glass in the corners flew off altogether, exposing the case. It’s my own fault, of course, that I didn’t install either a film or a protective glass, but my 6th iPhone fell much more, both on tiles and on ice, and in general nothing happened to the display in two years. And here, after 3 months of use after one fall, the display is destroyed. Replacing the display costs from 19 thousand, count almost half of the phone. There is only one conclusion - the phone is absolutely not worth the money.

Pros
  • Beautiful design, large bright display, excellent color reproduction, battery and battery life.
Cons
  • Very fragile display, slows down, and the camera is only good for macro photography, terrible bixby button, problems with the microphone.
