I gave this journal as a graduation gift to my granddaughter upon her college graduation. The craftsmanship is impressive to everyone who sees it. Even my son in law wanted one to record his business records. The book is gender neutral although the heart cover seemed more female specific. We wrote on the first page as a remembrance for her to look back on. We encouraged her to write her thoughts (like a diary or journal) and also significant events such as travel and experiences.
