I've been using it all summer to direct cool air from the front air conditioning vents to the rear of the car. If you have an older model car that doesn't have a separate air conditioning unit in the rear, this is a practical solution. I do not recommend pointing the hose directly at baby's face, I attached it to blow into my toddler's seat. It has helped my little one feel comfortable on those hot summer days when the interior of the car has cooled. Most vents also face the rear of the car, so a rear-facing car seat does not give the child the benefit of these vents. This vent hose is great to solve this problem.
