I received this camera a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it ever since. It was an upgrade from an old Sony 7.1 MP camera (DSC-P200). This model is a huge improvement over my previous model. I've compared it to similarly priced Canon and Nikon models and found this model's interface to be more user-friendly, admittedly this may be due to my familiarity with Sony products. Advertisement Great user interface β I like that you can browse photos by date as it makes organization much more fluid and intuitive. Cons: Scaling isn't on par with other similarly priced models (although better scaling models are bulkier - you'll have to choose your preference when choosing). The touchscreen can be a bit boring. Sometimes the touchscreen doesn't recognize or respond to my actions and I don't have thumbs/hands. I think someone with big hands/fingers might have an issue with the touchscreen responding to a specific command when there are multiple options on the screen. All in all, the wife and I are very satisfied with the purchase. Others who have used it have also been impressed - their aunt is actually talking about ordering it now. It excels at point-and-click operation and is small enough to carry around easily. We still need a DSLR but this camera will keep us going through that transition and even then I know a DSLR will never be a full replacement for everyday use!
