FIXED: I was having issues with not being able to connect to devices on my phone after the update, but Govee was quick to respond and helped me fix that to fix the problem! At the same time I like it. They seem to track closely and being able to load old data to track time and averages is great. I've had 2 for quite some time (6 months to a year) and haven't had to change the batteries yet. If you have a good thermometer that you know to be accurate you can adjust it to match, but none of the thermometers I use are off by more than 0.5 degrees. Anyway, I was frustrated that I couldn't connect to them, but Govi mentioned that I should try logging into my account on the app again, and guess what. it worked! Overall, it's worth the money for me and I don't regret the purchases. Old tip: I have a total of 5 different Govee thermometer hygrometers. I bought 2 of these for myself then 3 more for work where I needed to take the temperature at various points in the building. I used the 3 I recently bought along with the 2 I already had and set up the encryption because I didn't want someone to come in and mess with them and wipe my data. Well it worked. But what didn't work was being able to use them again. I picked her up a week ago and brought her home. I bought a new phone this week and sold my old one so I no longer have the one I set them up for. It would be ok if I didn't try to pair them with my new phone and got an error saying I can't pair them because they're encrypted. So I call the person I sold my phone to to ask if I can use the phone to check if it's hardware based and when I tried to connect them he still wouldn't let me . So basically I have (5) such devices and I can't use any of them via Bluetooth which is the main reason I bought them. I think I can walk around and check them out, but if I want to follow trends I just have to walk past them a lot and write them down because I can't use them with the app anymore. It would be great if I didn't. I don't need them to track temperature and humidity, but that's literally what I bought them for. It would also be cool if they were like $500 devices and people were happy to steal and use them, but these are $10-20 thermometers and there has to be ANY WAY to factory reset them for them to can be used if you do, I wear it I don't know, SELL YOUR PHONE YOU USED IT WITH! I reached out to Govee and asked if there was a way to reset them but if not all of these purchases can be considered a waste of time and money. and I will share this review of all my purchases I have made for them. Seriously, you can figure out a way to factory reset a phone you found by the side of the road, but can't do it with that $10 thermometer? This is BS. If someone refuses, I consider it a loss that I will not care about for more than 20 minutes.
