I like that they are easy to install. I like that I don't have to touch all the nasty stuff in the pocket area. "Q" filters are a bit more difficult to use, but not difficult. They have a piece of cardboard that lifts up and closes the bag when you take it out of the vacuum, which is good for keeping dust out of your face. The "I” filters are simply inserted. Very basic but they don't close when you pull them out so when you drop them. Phew, you have to get out again. They do not prevent odors from entering the vacuum cleaner's outer bag. Which isn't nice. Every time I vacuum, my house smells like a dog, so I have to take out essential oils to mask the vacuum cleaner smell. But at least I don't have dust coming through the bag like my old Kirby did.
