I tried this item with my Samsung 27" CF398 Curved LED Monitor (very modern, bought last year) and it didn't work at all. I have my PS2 output set to component video (YPbPr, analog) which is what the converter wants but I am not getting any signal to my monitor. All connections (including powering the device via USB-mini) were solid; this product just doesn't work. Luckily this is the default output. But if you've already changed it to component you'll need to use S think about changing it again. Once installed, I had no problems operating this device (link above). There's a reason this product (which I'm reviewing) has bad reviews: it's rubbish.
