Review on Optimized ROKR Wooden Mechanical Treasure Projects by Matthew Wheeler

Deducted a star because you have to cut these pieces of wood yourself for the dowels and then make them even and smooth. The waxing of the gears is also annoying, but that's to be expected. It took longer to make the pins and wax the gears than all the steps in assembling the box combined. If only they had made the dowels I would give this 5 stars. Also not sure why they have two handles on the back of the box as they both serve the same purpose. And you can't put a key/knob for the rear handles in the top shelf corner that would really tie everything together. Alternatively they could attach the keys/handles to the back. Despite all that, the build was useful, looks good, is fun, and now I want to fill the whole room with 3D interactive stuff like this. 😂
