Full disclosure, I bought this from Fry. I connected it to the PCI connector and then connected the Molex connector. Then I turned on the computer and used it to control the mouse and flash drive I had to work with. This caused the mouse and USB stick to short out. So I contacted Sabrent support. Sabrent told me it was a problem with my motherboard. I quickly sent the card back and ordered it from Startech on Revain https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HJZEA2S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I connected the exact same molex connector. The card works perfectly! I think the motherboard was fine. This $20 card cost me about $100 in installments after she destroyed it! Not such a good deal, after all.
