I went with this storage device rather than an HDD because I needed a medium that was dependable, voluminous, and small. When I take it around, I would like the connector to be protected by some kind of cap of some form. I'm still not sure what's going on with the flash drive, which is why it switches to read-only mode all of a sudden (one of the possible explanations is that the computer is going into sleep mode). Is there anyone else who has had such a terrible experience?
