A good product, I advise you to try it.

I went with this storage device rather than an HDD because I needed a medium that was dependable, voluminous, and small. When I take it around, I would like the connector to be protected by some kind of cap of some form. I'm still not sure what's going on with the flash drive, which is why it switches to read-only mode all of a sudden (one of the possible explanations is that the computer is going into sleep mode). Is there anyone else who has had such a terrible experience? (If there's anything more I do, I take out and put in the USB flash drive very gently, make sure it's turned off properly, and use it with EXTREME CAUTION). ate: The flash drive is still functional, and I have no major complaints about it. slips off occasionally (but not very frequently), going into protection mode. I am aware that the controller of the flash drive is attempting to shield me from the possibility of information being lost in this manner. But I have no idea why she behaves in that manner or what causes her to react in that manner. This occurs less frequently on the computer that has USB 3.0, but more frequently on the machine that has USB 2.0. I haven't been able to figure out the pattern just yet. The remedy for the issue is to disconnect and then reconnect after waiting ten seconds.

Pros
  • It has a sleek appearance and is surprisingly small for a storage capacity of 256 GB. Does not, contrary to the complaints of a great number of the other buyers', heat up. The speed is pretty respectable while using USB 3.0, and it is acceptable when using USB 2.0. I still have faith that it is dependable.
Cons
  • The protective mode (read only) will activate on the flash drive at random intervals and for no apparent reason. To this point, I have not been able to expose any patterns; moreover, ever since I "entered" the flash drive into the read-only mode for the last time, I have been unable to display it: ((((
