Review on Sigma Contemporary Lens for Canon EF: 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM by Mike Betzing

This is SHARP glass! I really like this lens. That's only about a third the price of the Canon 100-400 MkII, but it's only 1/3 a light stop slower. But much sharper and lighter than Canon. I use this often with a Canon 2x Mkiii teleconverter with no problems. I love that it can be programmed via the Sigma dock to better suit your shooting style. On the other hand only 2 things. In low light, focusing can be quite slow. Focus on the peak, focus that way. Another reason is the lack of an official tripod collar. For the price and quality you won't find anything better. :)
