Bought this mirror and an OEM Coolint 1080i rear view camera to use on my 2012 Dodge Journey. I ordered an adapter to convert a triple mount to a U mount and the mirror was easy to install. I used a fuse tap to connect the positive red wire to the spare fuse outlet in the cabin fuse box, then I connected the negative black wire (connect the ground wire directly to the chassis ground. I connected the monitor's green trigger wire to the red wire taken from coming from the RCA video line coming from the back of the car which also connects to the positive wire for the reversing light.On the Coolint 1080i I drilled a hole in the tailgate handle assembly which makes it look like an OEM.I have one too Noise filter used between the power and camera jacks to prevent lines from receiving video On my Dodge Journey the reverse light positive wire is white/orange stripe where I connected the red wires from the camera as well as the RCA which is the trigger for the Monitor is and I connected the black wire directly to chassis ground, it all works great he!
