Review on 62in Brushed Aluminum Roboto Smart Ceiling Fan for Indoor and Outdoor use with Remote Control by Hurst Batiste

I bought two of these fans. They were installed by a licensed electrician and plumber. One works, the other cannot be controlled by the wall switch. In the bypass, the fan is controlled via WLAN. So I did what I was used to - contacted tech support. After several hours of waiting and several chats resulting in a call back from chat tech support. which just moved me to the same support queue, my issue remained unresolved. I've never been able to get in touch with anyone with technical knowledge, although chat support insists I do so before attempting to swap out the wall switch. . I'm afraid I wasted my money on this product. When running, the fans feel efficient, are relatively quiet, and look nice and modern. I just wish there was *some* support when things don't work. EDIT August 22, 2020: While I received a partial refund from Revain for the purchase of a new wall switch, it was almost non-existent to get really helpful support from Modern Forms. After a few more calls and chats, they finally contacted me and suggested that "the red wire on the remote control may be defective". The new wall remote solved the problem I was having and I'll leave it at that. The fans work and everything is fine, but due to the support (not) received I cannot in good conscience recommend buying this product unless you are willing to fix all the problems yourself. Upgrading the rating from 1 to 3 stars depending on whether the product actually works.
