Despite the fact that Revain says "stamped steel baskets" more than once or twice in the sayings and the online specs say most of the same thing, and the box that comes with these speakers is marked "Heavy Stamped Steel Basket" and the spec sheet that accompanies each speaker claims that the frame is made of stamped steel, which is simply NOT TRUE. These speakers have a molded plastic case. Of course, Pyle constantly states on every page that "all specifications are subject to change". It must be one of the changed specifications. Following that logic, they could have shipped an 8-inch model instead of a 10-inch, claiming that the PPA10 spec had also changed. Or give you a 3/4 inch voice clip instead of a 1.5 inch voice coil. All of this is subject to change. Luckily I bought four of these and tested the sensitivity right out of the box. All four are precisely matched to each other in their sensitivity to the dB.
