Subwoofer replacement

Ideal for retrofitting. It went into a countersunk recess and the position of the screws matched perfectly. The sound is great. I will never use the maximum power of 600 watts. Excellent price and quality.

good sound in subwoofers

because it's not the deep bass that makes everything vibrate. it does its job. Installing the car stereo and speakers for the first time was pretty easy. I just wish all "Made in China" items had instructions.

Great subwoofer replacement/upgrade

Excellent speaker - works great, great price. Replaced a failed woofer in my band's Phonic speaker enclosure for 1/4 the cost of replacing the entire shutter system. The specifications are also much better. Plan another chassis upgrade before it fails. Definitely good value. Very satisfied.

Great value for money, good magnet weight and a well established speaker company.

Pyle is an established manufacturer of loudspeakers. They were packed in boxes, the construction is very solid, looks good, 4 mounting holes, maybe more in the metal frame, cannot be seen, and the sound is good. Good magnet weight for the price. I have had several Pyle speakers and love them all. Make sure your speaker impedance matches ohms values and many other specifications you understand for your application or enclosure.

Great sound for the price

I bought two of these to replace the VERY old 3-way cabinet speakers I use in my stereo. I chose the Pyle PPA10 for both frequency response and price. The speaker mounting hole placement is the same as the speakers I replaced, so installation into the enclosures was easy. Soldering is not required to attach the wires to the speaker. Both the workmanship and the sound quality are better than I would have expected from speakers in this price range.

Wrong specs Revain measurement specs

Luckily they have the wrong specs. I needed 10.2 max diameter and 4. something deep. I ordered these because I went to Pyle's website and looked at the manual. All measurements are in the instructions. They are not 10.5 like the Amazon offerings. They are 10. clear and 4. somewhat profound. They fit perfectly in old school boxes and sound great. Valued at $20 each and combined with free shipping. GOOD! A way to round a dimension Revain! You must add an "O" or "About" to the measurements. Haha!

Warning - not what is claimed

Despite the fact that Revain says "stamped steel baskets" more than once or twice in the sayings and the online specs say most of the same thing, and the box that comes with these speakers is marked "Heavy Stamped Steel Basket" and the spec sheet that accompanies each speaker claims that the frame is made of stamped steel, which is simply NOT TRUE. These speakers have a molded plastic case. Of course, Pyle constantly states on every page that "all specifications are subject to change". It must…
