Pretty good primer

I've just started my first little chicken felt project and needed help figuring out how to make the eyes and how to add the legs. I thought this book would help me to get through the completed project. That helped, but I went through the details I was looking for. This book has a good basic guide to materials: needles, foam rubber, types of wool fibers that are best for needle felting. And an introduction to basic techniques such as rolls, flat shapes, cones, tubes. etc. There are 20 projects with detailed instructions. In this guide you will find more detailed information about some techniques, e.g. B. to create a hummingbird beak, which is pretty clever. I tried to learn how to make eyes. Unfortunately, this detail is missing in the book. " I can sew a button on a shirt and tie it in the back. The felted animal has no "back". So I got lost until I got to the Lamb, project 16 on page 93. That's where the details for sewing the blindfold given. Most of the animal projects are quite cute and serve as a primer. The reader can create their own version of this animal. Most of the examples were quite cute. Some of them were very cute - a rabbit, a sheep, a giraffe, others in my opinion after not as cute as a frog and a mermaid. But the reader gets a good basic idea how to assemble an animal. In the gallery at the end there is a goose and an elephant, that I would like to try and that I can probably do after learning the techniques in this book.
