Pyle Preamp/Tuner - Reasonable Price

I really wish I could give this unit a higher rating but there are a few things that make it really difficult. 1) The FM tuner picks up stations quite well, but it's not that easy to tune into a station. Basically you let the tuner "auto-program" and then have to slowly cycle through each store to get to the one you want. For example, in my area, the tuner put out 52 stations in the car program. The two stations I want to hear are at 92.1 and 101.5, which ended up becoming memories #13 and #32, so I have to hit the next track button 19 times to go from one to the next to switch to others. Also, if you accidentally hit the play/pause button (inconveniently located between the previous and next track buttons), you'll have to wait for it to be auto-programmed again...yes 2) The Tape Monitor button just rotates red LED next to it. There are two pairs of RCA jacks on the back of the unit (labeled Tape In & Out) that I wanted to use with an external EQ, but the button doesn't turn the EQ on. Even with nothing plugged into those RCA jacks, the button has no effect on the sound you hear (if nothing is plugged into RCA Tape In & Out, the Tape Monitor button should actually be a mute button). The rest of the unit works great - in fact, the triple tone controls are so useful that I don't need an external EQ. My Bluetooth works absolutely fine (so far) and I'm happy with the build quality for a very low price. I'm keeping it for use with a small speaker system I use occasionally (a pair of Peavey PR12s with a Crown XLS power amp), but I'll probably continue to buy a better replacement.
