Perfect dowels for dowels

I have quilted many wall hangings throughout the year and have been looking for the best way to hang them. I took a 1/2" x 30" rod to go through the hanging loops (I use battery powered flashlights to add shine and needed something strong to support the weight of the battery). They worked but looked unfinished. Then I found these butts and voila! - perfect execution. Each recipient loved their tapestry and loved the pegs. I'm buying a few more for 2019!
