The bulbs themselves are bright and don't seem to have any issues at full power. However, since this bulb is marketed as dimmable, I had to reduce the number of stars for the following reasons: The bulb is much whiter than the xenon bulbs it replaced. In this setup I tried to get a warm color (LEDs on the left, Xenon on the right in the picture). I connected them to an Insteon dimmer switch. They dim like xenon light. Also, they buzz/hum when dimmed. The lights have a switch that gives off full or half power. At half power, the LEDs only flicker. Assuming they last long, I may end up leaving them and not using them silently. Color aside, they would be good as non-dimmable lamps.
