I can't say enough good things about this water bottle cleaner. I'm a bit shy to admit I have a closet full of refillable water bottles that I haven't used in a while because of a certain one. Odor. deep in metal or plastic that won't come out lol. Tried my dishwasher (even if it was hand wash only. Scandal), tried leaving it soaked in hot water and dish soap overnight. Nothing worked. I was concerned that I would have to throw away most of my bottles which would defeat the purpose of sustainable bottle storage lol. It is true! I confess that I used a full tablet for each bottle, even though it was smaller than the recommended full tablet size. Believe me it had to be done. Also, the tabs are thick and I couldn't break them in half with my hands. I filled my bottles with hot water, *bloop* dropped a pill in it and let it sit overnight. If your bottle cap is a little weird too, unscrew the suction cup on top and it will clean it too. A+++
