Wrong rear sensor cable.
Replaced front and rear brakes, pads and discs on my 2010 BMW X3. The front sensor worked fine, the rear one didn't reach, didn't reach forwards or backwards. It was too short. Luckily I was able to reuse the previous sensor cable.
