It's a good concept but follow the instructions carefully AND (and this is important) know exactly where you want to place it. The supplied Velcro fasteners are not very forgiving and are only given by the manufacturer on set! So if you screw up the original install (which I did), good luck! I had to get creative with the installation. I placed this behind the liter drawer for my cats as sometimes one of them splashes outside the box because he's a 'big boy' so it helps me keep the place clean.
