Review on AQUATICLIFE RO Buddie Plus DI 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Deionization Unit 50 GPD for Aquatic Environments by Morgan Arnold

I've had this system for about a year and a half. Bought to make RODI water for my reef tank. For the most part it was great. It is much cheaper than other RO/DI systems. It only produces 50 gal/d (many standard systems make 75) but is easy to upgrade in the future (I upgraded mine to 75 gal/d with a 75 gal/d diaphragm and a larger flow restrictor). What I would be wary of is the cap on the DI cartridge. The cartridge can be refilled when the resin runs out and the other day when I was unscrewing the cap after changing the resin it broke on the side of the cap. When I try to use it, water spurts out from the gap. I almost gave it a 3 star rating but the water people were kind enough to respond to my emails quickly and send a new cap. In general, there are better systems out there, but you'll have trouble finding a system that works like this. good in this price range
