Give me a good kick in the pit of the stomach!

It depends what you are looking for in water shoes. These idiots hurry up when young swimmers step into the pool! They are a bit richer than what I was looking for. Probably great for a day at the water park. NOT good for a crazy kid kicking in grandma's pool like a banshee! Pros: The size is right. The Velcro makes them a little easier to put on than without this feature. Cons: Strong rubber smell.
