We ran this kite on the beach for 2 days. The first was a light wind and we couldn't keep the kite in the air. We wondered if he had too much tail for the speed of the wind. The next day was very windy and the kit flew very well. It was easy to steer just sitting there, but the thrust was more than a small child could handle in this wind. When we were at the beach with the kids years ago we tied a kite to some kind of driftwood and I'm wondering if this kite would tie or anchor well. This kite is well made and appears to be built to last.
