I don't know if I've ever given a star before, but it was completely useless except to poke holes in things. The needle tips were exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately none of them connected securely to the banana plug on the other end. They hung on my rack with test leads for a long time, and I finally figured out what the problem was. There are bad connections at the ends of the probe. If they were on the ends of the bananas, I could have saved them easily. Since everything is molded, the best I can do is surgically remove the tips and implant them into the bowl of the bic grip. Although they are rated for 20 amps I'm not sure I'll trust them for very long at that current. The conductors inside are anything but 12 gauge.
