Review on πŸ’Ž Diamond Porcelain Countertop Bathroom Installation by Matt Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very fast cutting but requires a pilot drill.

This drill bit did an excellent job cutting holes in tiled walls and cement wallboard behind tiles. Since I had to be relatively precise with the placement of the holes, the lack of a pilot drill was an issue. I originally created the stencil by drilling a 1 1/4" diameter hole in a piece of plywood that I intended to tape to the wall over the desired hole location. This method worked well on an additional piece of tile on which I ran tests. However, before I started drilling holes in the tile wall, I discovered an old carbide hole saw that I had forgotten was in the right place for me. With a carbide hole saw, I was able to make a groove in the tile around the Create perimeter of hole. I then switched to this diamond hole saw to finish the job. This diamond saw quickly finished a hole where the carbide saw was having trouble going through the cement board. I kept this cutter wet during use and had none at all Heat issues.I don't know how long it will last but I plan to be careful with it.It's worth it.Price.
