Review on Lithonia Lighting FMMCL 840 S1 by Megan Anderson

Product works well and responds well to case opening. The amount and color of the light is perfect for this application. I like the light function. However, the build quality is pretty bad. It arrived with a plastic fastener that fell off and rattled inside the device. So it takes too long to fix and install it. Worst of all, the plastic cover for the light BREAKS. I want to replace the cover. I don't want to dismantle the light, send everything back and put the light back in place. I want to exchange my defective part but I can't do it or contact the seller through Revain. The link to their website has information on many of their other product lines, but not on this particular low-end line (at least not as much as I can tell). The product has a guarantee, but I have already spent a lot of time and I have not been able to send a message to the company about this product. Now I'm just trying not to look at the broken light cover. If they replaced this part it would be a 5 star rating. If I had written this review on a disappointing install day it would have been 1 star. But today I'm giving it a 3 because the build quality is pathetic but the function is actually very good and beautiful. I feel so contradictory!
