Though he's a creepy pit bull, this guy is a huge baby with storms. We've tried a lot of things to ease his anxiety when the storm hits. During one of the recent storms we had while this 75 lb. the beast climbed over me, trembling and whimpering (he, not I). I've found he calms down the most when I just squash him between me and the couch, essentially using him as a pillow. That's what I've been looking for and found this thunder jacket that will help create a feeling of flatness without having to lie on it. I can confirm that this has helped with less storms and rumble so far. We haven't had a big storm yet so time will tell. Previously, he worried less about small storms, was able to remain calm, and no longer trembled, whimpered, or chattered his teeth with fear. I will update if anything changes. It took a little practice to get him to cooperate in getting dressed. Regularly all day dressing and giving treats, and then undressing and giving treats. Now he's working great and seems to think it's just something we wear and enjoy, not something we just carry on a storm!
