I needed black shoes for work and sometimes it's difficult to find peep toe sandals that are comfortable for 8 hours of walking. I found the Clarks brand but they were dark brown and I thought I might make them black after using this product. It worked! Very easy to use and no one will notice they're tanned! The only advice I would suggest is if you have open straps like sandals, put newspaper or an old towel in your shoes so the paint doesn't get anywhere if you press too hard. If you press too hard, more paint will be released and go everywhere if you're not careful. You can always gently release the dye as needed and repeat until the desired amount has been applied. Otherwise I have nothing to complain about, because my shoes look like they were bought in matt black!
