I thought it was a hard bottle. Instead, it's a rubber bottle that deflates and falls limp as I run. To make matters worse, the ratchet strap prevents me from tightening any harder when deflated. Adding to this nightmare, when the bottle's temperature rises due to body temperature, the water tastes awful! Tastes like I drank from a brand new rubber pool out of the box. I even washed it before use! I like the top squeeze option where I can just bite in and water comes out but not when the water tastes like ass. js. I'll try that with a solid bottle and see if I can get the sleeve and cap to work at all. To be honest, besides this option, there were other options that I would like to buy. Maybe I'll try one of these. In the meantime, I'm getting back to my little portable water bottle with case and strap.
