I bought this multimeter for general home and car use. I bought it because of the good reviews online. I personally found something good and something bad in it. The counter has most of the features of similar devices in the same price range. The autorange feature is also very handy and works almost instantly. However, the feature I like the most is that depending on the setting you choose, the ports will blink and beep to let you know you're on the wrong ports. This is extremely handy as I don't have to try to figure out which ports I should be connected to or wonder if I'm getting the right values. I have found several downsides to using this meter. First, it's very large, about 50% larger than most other devices (see photo), so it definitely takes up a lot more space and makes it less portable. Also, I've found that the voltage function sometimes doesn't show up correctly unless I unplug and plug in the sensors. At first I thought my batteries were dead on my hands until I realized the readings were just plain wrong. I've learned to look out for him so he doesn't make any more mistakes, but it would be nice if he didn't have that flaw. But otherwise I really had no problems. The meter works well and accurately measures everything around the house and in my car.
